Arthurs Chalet offers a range of rooms to suit all budgets. We have couples room, family room with ensuite, family room with ensuite and kitchenette, twin room or luxury bunk room. Couples room comprises of 1 queen bed, bath, tv, balcony and views. Family room with ensuite comprises of 1 double and 1 single bed, some with bath and shower, some with shower only, tv, balcony and great views. This is also available as twin double or triple. Family room with ensuite and kitchenette comprises of 2 double and 1 single bed, bath and shower, tv and ground floor access. Twin share room comprises of 2 single beds and use of shared bathroom facilities. Luxury bunks rooms comprise of either 2 bunks and single bed with shared bathroom facilities or 4 bunks with 2 single beds with shared bathroom facilities. Facilities include a fully licensed bar and restaurant, private venue (restaurant with log fire, chiller and private toilets) available for hire, with access to garden and views (seating for up to 34 guests), accommodation for up to 34 guests, guest laundry (with washer and dryer, uses $2 coins) and free parking. The Bealey Hotel is located in the Southern Alps near Arthur's Pass on State Highway 73 between Christchurch and the West Coast. It is situated on the banks of the Waimakariri River and enjoys a splendid panorama of the river and surrounding snow-capped mountains of Arthur's Pass National Park. The Mountain House is located in Arthur's Pass township, right in the middle of the Arthur's Pass National Park, and deep in the Southern Alps. With Kiwi and Keas at our doorstep, and tall mountains surrounding us, we live in an Alpine wonderland. We have a variety of accommodation options right in the centre of town. Our Main Lodge has backpacker doubles, twins and shared rooms. There are communal kitchen, bathrooms and living spaces. We also have four, three bedroomed Cottages set on a quiet side street surrounded by native forest. These have fires with all the wood you can burn and are self contained.
