The Bealey Hotel is located in the Southern Alps near Arthur's Pass on State Highway 73 between Christchurch and the West Coast. It is situated on the banks of the Waimakariri River and enjoys a splendid panorama of the river and surrounding snow-capped mountains of Arthur's Pass National Park. This modern Hotel has a Restaurant and Family Bar. There are 9 fully serviced motel units some of which cater for large groups (sleep 1-5). There is also a Backpacker Lodge for the budget traveller with 10 double rooms. There are 5 ski fields within 40 minutes of the Hotel. Your Hosts - Debby & Marshall Deaker.

The Mountain House is located in Arthur's Pass township, right in the middle of the Arthur's Pass National Park, and deep in the Southern Alps. With Kiwi and Keas at our doorstep, and tall mountains surrounding us, we live in an Alpine wonderland. We have a variety of accommodation options right in the centre of town. Our Main Lodge has backpacker doubles, twins and shared rooms. There are communal kitchen, bathrooms and living spaces. We also have four, three bedroomed Cottages set on a quiet side street surrounded by native forest. These have fires with all the wood you can burn and are self contained.
